July 28th rides

Hello Group Riders,
This weekend's weather is looking to be just like the rest of this week - hot. So bring lots of fluids to drink on our rides for Saturday.
Tim and Scott will take the intermediate riders out Belleview to the 470 trail around to Ken Caryl, and down Deer Creek and around. This is always a fun ride with a fast descent down Deer Creek, and a ride through Chatfield before going up the Platte to catch the Bear Creek trail back to the shop.
Brad will take the advanced riders up Deer Creek and tackle High Grade.
Make sure to check over your bikes before coming to the shop to make sure everything is in good working order, have a spare tube for any flats, and bring some snacks if you need them. Don't forget the sunscreen!!
As always, we'll meet at the shop at 9am and ride at 9:30am.

Rides for July 14th

Happy Friday the 13th Group Riders!
Tomorrow we will be hosting two rides - an advanced ride and an intermediate ride.

Dan and Reid will take the intermediate riders up Dinosaur Ridge and Red Rocks. This is a 25 mile ride with some good climbs mixed in.

Justin will take the advanced group out east and south through Daniel's Park and back. This ride is about 46 miles long, with some long climbs, and dirt road section that's about 2 1/2 to 3 miles long.

It's going to be hot, so please bring lots of fluids and nutrition, wear sunscreen, and a bring a spare tube. As usual, we'll meet at 9am and ride at 9:30am.  These are NO-DROP rides with support, which means no one is left behind, and we're there to help you out with basic repairs!

For you ladies, Jenn will be leading the Bicycle Village Women's group on Sunday for a 37+ mile ride from Cherry Creek High School, down through Parker and back. We'll meet at 8am and ride out about 10 mins later. Arrive ready to go, pumping your tires and preparing yourself at home before you come out. These rides are DROP rides, and non-supported - be comfortable changing your own tires and what not, and know your ability for the route (elevation profile is included). You can RSVP and sign up for future notifications on the Meetup site.

Hope to see you at one of the rides this weekend!
Jenn

Hope you all had a wonderful and safe holiday.
This weekend, we're planning two rides - a recreational and an advanced.
The recreational riders will head out the Platte to REI and back.
The advanced riders will head up Deer Creek to High Grade, and down City View back to the shop.
The weather is looking unpredictable, so please check the Facebook page for an update IF it's questionable. Note, we will only post if the ride is cancelled - otherwise, we meet at 9am and ride at 9:30am!
See you there!
